Tasmania’s Museum of Old and New Art Announces MONA Bangkok

The Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) in Tasmania will develop MONA Bangkok in partnership with the Bangkok-based real estate group Asset World Corp Public Company Limited (AWC). 

MONA in Tasmania houses ancient, modern and contemporary art from the collection of art collector and professional gambler David Walsh, who will also direct the Bangkok outpost. It will be creatively led by Leigh Carmichael, CEO of DarkLab, the production company behind MONA, and officially owned by AWC.
