The Russian artist Robert Kuzovkov – known by his pseudonym Semyon Skrepetsky – has been killed in the eastern Polish town of Biała Podlaska, in what appears to be an assassination.

Kuzovkov’s work satirised Vladimir Putin, as well as Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko and Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov. He had also been critical of Russian opposition figures, as well as Ukrainian authorities.
