Hong Kong’s M+ Museum Announces Five Year Partnership with Centre Pompidou in Paris
The deal will see collections, research and talent shared across the two institutions, beginning next year

A five year deal between Hong Kong’s M+ Museum and Centre Pompidou in Paris starting next year will see collections, research and talent shared across the two institutions, as reported by South China Morning Post.
The partnership was consolidated at M+ on 15 May by director Suhanya Raffel and president of the Centre Pompidou, Laurent Le Bon.
The Centre Pompidou, a major museum of international modern and contemporary art, closed last year for renovations, and will reopen in 2029 or 2030. It will then host a major exhibition featuring collections from both institutions.
Prior to this, a series of shows are planned for Hong Kong, and will launch a postdoctoral appointment focusing on 20th- and 21st-century Western and Asian art, according to ARTNews. The partnership will also facilitate cross-team support for curators and other museum employees, as well as research collaborations, new commissions and loans.
