CHANEL and Centre Pompidou Renew Partnership for Five Years
This collaboration will provide financial support to the museum as it undergoes extensive renovations, expected to be completed in 2030

CHANEL has renewed its partnership with Centre Pompidou for another five years, a press release published by the museum announced yesterday. The news comes shortly after the announcement of Centre Pompidou’s collaboration with Hong Kong’s M+ Museum.
CHANEL and Centre Pompidou have worked together since 2019. In 2023, the CHANEL Culture Fund and Centre Pompidou launched ‘Assemble’, an initiative self-described as aiming to “strengthen representation in the collection and programmes”, and in 2025, they signed a three-year partnership to increase acquisitions of Chinese art.
This collaboration will provide financial support to the museum as it undergoes extensive renovations, expected to be completed in 2030.
It also marks a continuation of CHANEL’s ‘soft power’ arts patronage model, which is grounded more in partnerships with preexisting institutions than a dedicated branded museum, as other luxury fashion houses have opted for (see Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris or Fondazione Dries Van Noten in Venice).
